Our Services

Kelshaw Group Home will provide 24 hour services with the necessary staff coverage. Training and support services will include evaluation and training in personal hygiene, daily living and social skills. Transportation, behavior management, money management, assistance in accessing community resources, planning and participating in social activities will also be included.

The individual service plan will focus on the service needs as well as the personal goals of the individual with developmental disability. The individual, guardian, family advocate, friend, caseworker and other professionals will work as a team in implementing a plan.

The behavioral services offered by the program will be enhanced to assist each individual move towards the fullest inclusion in all areas of life. Kelshaw Group Home’s therapeutic activity programs will meet the needs of each Consumer in an environment that is stimulating and social, as well as helpful in decreasing socially inappropriate behaviors. The curriculum will be adjusted accordingly to meet each individual’s changing needs and abilities.
